Vicki Lynn Bellows

June 17, 1963 — July 7, 2022

Vicki Lynn Bellows (nee Burton) passed away unexpectantly on July 7th, 2022, at her home in Iola, WI. Vicki is survived by her mother Arlyne (Les) James, her husband Alan (of 39 years), her children Vanessa (James) Boutott and Justin (Colleen) Bellows; her grandchildren Adrianna, Alexander, and Aiden Boutott. She is further survived by her siblings Ed (Sandy) Burton, Debbie Kisley, and Bob (Angie) Bibbs and her numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was proceeded in death by her father, Ernest Burton, grandparents Adrian & Elsie Hellickson, and brother-in-law John Kisley. Vicki was born on June 17th, 1963, to Ernest and Arlyne Burton in Milwaukee WI, where she joined her two older siblings, Ed and Debbie. Vicki was a 1981 graduate of Custer High School, where she met Alan and later, they were joined in marriage, March 19th, 1983. She devoted her life to her children as a stay-at-home mother for many years, and later when her children were grown, she spent over a decade as a business manager for an environmental company. Vicki loved cross stitching, reading true crime novels and watching crime shows, especially with her granddaughter, that loved them much as she did. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren, who affectionately called her Nana. Vacationing to Minocqua was something she loved to do also. Another favorite thing to do, were the nightly boat rides on their pontoon with their grandchildren. In the later years, you could find Alan and Vicki splitting their time between their main home and their home on the lake in Iola, where they had planned on retiring. A celebration of life for close family and friends will be held at a later date. Per Vicki’s wishes she was cremated, and no public services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice. John 5:24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” She is loved and will be missed by many.
