Vern had worked as a mink rancher. He also ran a game farm and raised dogs, pigs, bears and goats. He was a good builder having built cabins and his brother Andy's house. Vern enjoyed riding horses, camping, fishing and a lot of hunting. He was an all around good guy who knew everybody and they knew him.
Vern is survived by his Wife: Jerilyn: his Children: Jeff (Donna) Amundson, Scott (Rita) Amundson and Curt Amundson. Seven Grandchildren: Casey, Jason, Sara, Mindi, Kristine, Mitchel and Tyler. Six Great Grandchildren: Braelyn, Brielle, Taelynn, Kylie, Ethan and Tally. A Sister: Anita (Donald) Faldet. He was preceded in death by a Daughter: Jackie and a Brother: Andy
Memorial Service will be held at Northland Lutheran Church, Town of Harrison, Wisconsin, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 14, 2018 with the Rev. Daniel Somers officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday 9-11 AM. at Northland Lutheran Church.
