Roy Robert Jacobson

Roy Robert Jacobson, 61, of Iola, WI, passed away Friday, November 23rd, at his residence. Roy was born in Evanston, Illinois on February 2, 1957, a son of Esther (Svendsen) Jacobson and the late Robert Roger Jacobson.Roy had worked as a cabinet maker most of his life. After moving to Iola, he drove school bus for the Iola-Scandinavia Schools. Roy loved boating and skiing. He loved his family very much. He is loved by many and will be missed by all. He loved his Grandchildren and was an amazing GrandfatherRoy is survived by his mother: Esther Jacobson, of Iola; son: David (Norma) Jacobson, of Roselle, Illinois; significant other: Patty Phinney, of Iola; two grandchildren; Olivia and Evelyn Jacobson. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Roy was preceded in death by: his paternal and maternal grandparents, an uncle, Bjarne Svendsen, and an aunt, Marie Dunn.A Graveside Memorial Service will be in the Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery Town of Scandinavia, Wisconsin later in June 2019.
