Orville K. Larson

Orville K. Larson, age 90, of Rosholt, passed away on Friday September 16, 2022 at home with his family by his side. He was born on April 19, 1932 in Town of Harrison, Waupaca County, to the late Jens Larson and Anna (Brandt) Larson. Orville married Ramona Fredrick on September 7, 1957. She preceded him in death on Feb 7, 2019. Orville was a part of the National Guard for many years before meeting his wife. Together the raised 4 children and rejoiced in 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Orville worked hard in life as the Owner of Larson Builders which allowed him to do the work he loved building homes. He had a hand in the Rosholt Lions Club and Rosholt Fair Board for many many years. Over the years Orville enjoyed old cars, motorcycling, snowmobiling, fishing, and golfing. Orville loved his yearly trips to Florida with his late wife. Orville is survived by his children: Susan Opperman of Amherst Jct, Kathleen Page of Rosholt, David (Michelle) Larson of Rosholt, 8 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, Sisters: Doris Stoltz of Waukesha and Vernice Branson of California. Orville was preceded in death by his Wife: Ramona, Son: Scott Larson, Son in law: John Opperman, Brother: Richard Larson, and Sisters: Marian Braska, Shirley Vanpool and Joan Bestul. The Funeral Service for Orville will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church in Rosholt with Reverend Michael Peuse officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, at 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM at the church. Interment will be in the Alban Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Alban, Portage County.
