Nettie A. Creech

Nettie A. Creech, 77, of Iola , passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Ascension Saint Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Nettie was born in St. Francisville, Illinois on April 14, 1941, a daughter of the late Bertha ( Weber) and Fred Buchanan. She married Thomas Creech on May 29, 1959 at the Presbyterian Church in Olney, Illinois. He survives.Nettie had worked as a supervisor for the Crawford County Industries. She also had worked for the Iola Nursing Home in the laundry department and for I-S Schools as a crossing guard. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and her flower garden.She is survived by: Husband Thomas Creech; Daughter: Ann (Dan) Tap; Grandsons Brian Tap and Cory Tap; and Granddaughter Alyssa Tap. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her parents and siblings.Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 18, 2018, at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola, Wisconsin with the Rev. Eric Tober officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Scandinavia.A memorial fund has been established to Ascension Hospice and Ascension Breast Cancer Center.
