Joyce E. Moe

Joyce Elaine (Zemple) Moe, 97, Scandinavia, died Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.  She was born September 12, 1927 in the town of Manawa, the daughter of the late Walter and Blanche Zemple. She married Maynard Moe on March 15, 1947 at Scandinavia Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death in 2005.  Joyce was employed at the 4 Wheel Drive in Manawa prior to her marriage. She and Maynard farmed in the Town of St. Lawrence for over 20 years. Joyce liked to sew, crochet, knit and embroider as hobbies. She enjoyed being a mother.

Survivors include two daughters: Diana (Brendan dec.) Kohlbeck and Linda (William dec.) Vanden Elzen , Appleton; eight grandchildren: Kristine Kohlbeck, Karrie (Rick) Abendroth, Katie (Jeff) Schumacher, KayLynn Kohlbeck, Kelly (Melissa) Kohlbeck, Sarah ( Doug) Dettmers, Joe (Darcy) Vanden Elzen, Adam (Angela) Vanden Elzen; 21 great-grandchildren; 13 great, great grandchildren, 1 Sister-in-law, Marian Breier, Waupaca. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Wesley Zemple.

The Funeral Service for Joyce will be held on Friday December 27 2024 11:00 AM Scandinavia Lutheran Church with Rev. Kent Wallace officiating. Visitation will be held at at the church on Friday from  10:30 AM to 11:00 AM.  Interment will be at the Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery.
