Mary Jane Duberstein, 64, of Scandinavia, went to her heavenly home on April 15, 2025. She was born on February 24, 1961 in Stevens Point to Frank and Helen (Schulist) Rozumalski. Mary Jane married Joe Duberstein on October 2, 1993 in Plover, Wisconsin.
Jane greatly loved the Lord, her family, and her friends. Her smile was warm and welcoming and her laughter contagious. She was always in search of knowledge and enjoyed sharing with others what she had learned. She was civically active and enjoyed volunteering and using her talents to help others. She loved to restore things; bringing old furniture back to life, bringing broken hearts back to hope. She cherished children and had a huge heart for serving women. Jane thrived in a team environment and was motivated by working together. She was a visionary and a big dreamer, to her there was always a better way to do things. Her passing has left an emptiness in many hearts that only the peace of God can comfort. We can rejoice in knowing that she is now in heaven with her Savior, Jesus.
She is survived by husband, Joe; children: Emily (Jacob) DeBoer, Scott Duberstein, Kurt Duberstein, Keith Duberstein; grandchildren: Madeline, Chester, Felicity, Vera, Ernie, and Spencer DeBoer, and Nathan, Seth, Alexander and Elizabeth Duberstein; siblings: Bill (Sharon) Rozumalski, Dick (Vicky) Rozumalski, Mike (Linda) Rozumalski, Gary (Karen) Rozumalski, Brian (Margie) Rozumalski, Karl (Nancy) Rozumalski, Fred (Lakmal) Rozumalski, and Kevin Rozumalski. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
