GLORIA'S FUNERAL SERVICE HAS BEEN RECHEDULED DUE TO AN ILLNESS IN THE FAMILY. NEW DATE: Monday, January 6th, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Iola with Rev. Dale Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Gloria Ann Olson, 84, of Iola, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024 with her family at her side. She was born on July 11, 1940 in Wausau, Wisconsin to the late Robert and Anne (Jones) Myers. Gloria married Roger E. Olson on September 12, 1959 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Iola. Gloria graduated from Iola High School in 1959. She enjoyed her flower gardens, hunting, golfing, bowling and snowmobiling. Gloria was an amazing cook and some of her specialties included: roasts, meatloaf, Norwegian meatballs and pastries. She also had worked at Zwicker's Knitting Mill in Waupaca, Hanson Gloves in Clintonville and the Iola Nursing Home. Gloria is survived by her husband: Roger; children: Scott (Sheila) Olson, Shelly (Jim) Vollmer and Sherri Floistad; grandchildren: Tanner (Sophia) Olson, Samantha (Thomas) Wilz, Nathan Domask, Dexter Domask, Kuhrtis (Mariah) Floistad and Meranda Floistad; great grandchildren: Ruth, Zayden, Leland, Finley, Gannyn and Lyle; sisters: Roberta Frankow, and Connie (Vern) Wendt; brothers: Glenn (Linda) Myers and Herbert (Ronda) Myers. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Kristine Shambeau; brother: Robert Alan Myers; brother-in-law: James Frankow; and son-in law: Harold Floistad. The Funeral Service for Gloria will be held on Monday, January 6th, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Iola with Rev. Dale Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Our Saviors Lutheran Cemetery in Iola.
