Frederick C. Reinhardt, age 92 peacefully entered into Jesus' presence and rejoined his bride on Tuesday May 5, 2020. Born in Oshkosh June 8, 1927, first son of the late Walter and Edith (Miller) Reinhardt. Frederick grew up working on the family farm. On March 15, 1952 he married Bernice Stenerson at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, New Hope. They were married 66 years. Bernice was the love of Fred’s life. She gained her eternal rest before him in December 2018. They farmed and raised their four girls near Amherst. Frederick sold Dekalb Seed Corn for 55 years, enjoyed wood working, inventing things (having one tool patented), traveling, reading, visiting with family and friends and listening to music with Mom while holding her hand. Now they can dance to the Blue Skirt Waltz again. He was preceded in death by brothers; Roy, Howard and Carl. His legacy as being a grateful gentleman of integrity has been passed to his children. Fred is survived by his daughters Shirley (Larry) Dukershein, Sharon (Allen) Hansen, Judy (Jere) Mansavage, Connie (Dale) Behrend, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by Hazel Reinhardt. A tender and heartwarming private graveside service was held. If desired, memorials in Frederick’s name can be sent to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 203 Grant Street Amherst, WI 54406. Voie Funeral Home of Iola has cared for our family.
