Frank P. Ostrowski, Jr. age 58, of Ogdensburg, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022. He was born on January 28, 1964, in Kenosha, Wisconsin to the late Kathryn Pagel and Frank Ostrowski Sr.
Frank attended Iola-Scandinavia High School, where he enjoyed participating in FFA activities. After graduating from high school, he worked seasonally for local farmers and the Larson Company in Hortonville before joining Marion Plywood Corp. in Marion, Wisconsin. He worked at Marion Plywood for the rest of his working career. Frank enjoyed spending time with friends and tinkering with mechanical projects. He especially enjoyed learning about old tractors. He was a member of the Union Threshermen’s Club and took part in Union Thresheree activities in Symco. Frank never married and lived in his childhood home, close to his work, family and friends, throughout his life. Frank was also a member of the Burg Pullers club. He enjoyed talking with people and shoot'n the breeze with his friends.
He is survived by his siblings: Dan (Beth) Ostrowski, of Waupaca. Karen (Joe) Knapstein, of Ogdensburg. Tom (Cheryl) Ostrowski, of Ogdensburg. Christopher (Kathy) Ostrowski, of Rosholt along with nieces and nephews: Ashley (Russell) Wons, Rebecca (Matthew) Schmidt, Daniel (Mikki) Ostrowski, Faye Knapstein, Heather Ostrowski, Eric Ostrowski and Hope Ostrowski. Aunts: Valerie Thompson of Iola, Janet Pagel of Ogdensburg, Shirley (Verlyn) Hanson of Iola and Uncles: Dennis Ostrowski of Menasha and Jim Krause of Iola, along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Kathryn (Pagel) Ostrowski and also by several aunts and uncles.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 11:00 AM at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church in Rosholt, with Father Thomas Nirappel officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 4:30 - 7:00 PM at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM- 10:45 A.M. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery.
