Donna L. Amundson

Donna L. Amundson, age 90, of Rosholt, WI, formerly of Iola, passed away Thursday, October 25th, at St. Faustina's Home, Rosholt, Wisconsin. Donna was born in Amherst Jct., Wisconsin on July 28, 1928, a daughter of the late Blanche (Halverson) and Arthur Stoltenberg. Donna married Alton Amundson on August 6, 1949 at North New Hope Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2016.Donna was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. She also had been an Avon salesperson for 50 years. She loved to knit, making several afghans over the years for various occasions. Donna was very active in her church. She was in the Sons of Norway choir, VFW Auxillary when she lived in Illinois and the American Legion Auxillary when she lived in Iola. Donna always loved when her family would get together.She is survived her children: Daughter: Susan (James) Hardwick, of Kent, Ohio; Son: Tom (Jean) Amundson, of Lindenhurst, Illinois; Daughter in law: Mary Amundson, of Madison, Wisconsin.Donna is also survived by: Grandchildren: Bryan (Lori) Amundson, Christa (Jason) Scheunenmann, Laura Hardwick, David (Amber) Hardwick, Tony Amundson, Alan (Kathryn) Amundson, and Drew Amundson. Great Grandchildren: Sierra, Sawyer and Everett. She is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: a son, Tim Amundson, one sister: Elsie Anderson and Brother: Charles Stoltenberg.Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday October 30, 2018 at North New Hope Lutheran Church with Reverend Michael Peuse officiating. A visitation will be held fro 10 AM - 11:00 AM at the church.
