Darrell D. Anderson

Darrell D. Anderson, age 79, of Iola, died Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Ascension Saint Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point. Darrell was born in Tomahawk, Wisconsin on August 3, 1940, a son of the late Esther (Isaacson) and Andrew Anderson. Darrell married Diana Martin in Milwaukee on June 12, 1982. Darrell had worked as a salesman for Milwaukee Maytag, top salesman for 10 consecutive years. He had also worked in the warehouse for Krause Publications and was a local business owner. Darrell enjoyed family gatherings, toddies, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, cooking, card playing, gambling, traveling and mowing the lawn. He is survived by: wife: Diana Anderson; children: Joy Anderson; David Anderson; Don (Ray Corn) Anderson: Doug Anderson; and Jodi (Ron) Murdzek. 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and a sister. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Northland Lutheran Church, Iola, Wisconsin with Debbie Thompson officiating. A Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be later at the Northland Lutheran Cemetery.
