Carol Trudell

Carol Trudell, age 91, Born on November 14, 1930, in Marshfield, WI. died peacefully in her sleep, on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, in Opelousas, LA. She was widowed in 1953. In 1961 she married Howard Trudell. She was widowed again in 2008. She retired after working years as a medical secretary. She lived many years in Wisconsin, before settling with family in Opelousas, Louisiana. Carol was a longtime member of Victory Church, in Waupaca, WI. When she moved to Louisiana she became a member of Faith Christian Worship Center, in Eunice, LA, where she happily called herself Grandma Hugger! Survivors include 2 daughters, Sandra (Wayne) Sparks, Barbara (Daniel) Shannon; 6 Grandchildren, Christopher (Nicole) Sparks, Catherine (Brian) Brook, Jason Shannon (Luana Raffaeli), Colleen Shannon (Tracy Buttke), Jesse Schultz, Jennifer Schultz (Donna Douglas). She enjoyed lots of great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Carol also has several surviving nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Howard, son Robert Schultz, and daughter Penelope (William) Longworth.
