Carol Johnson

Carol Marie Johnson, 75, of Ogdensburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. She was born on October 6, 1949, in Waupaca to the late Allen and Beulah (Kensler) Boutwell. Carol married Howard Johnson on June 1, 1968, in New London.

Carol was a horse lover and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was involved with the Waupaca County 4-H and liked to garden. Carol was also a volunteer at the lunches each Friday at the Central County Airport. She also loved to travel.

Carol is survived by her husband, Howard; daughter, Sheila (Craig) Beyer, and son, Howard (Joanne) Johnson Jr.; grandchildren: Jessie Johnson, Charlie Johnson; step grandchildren: Tristen Selle, Amanda (Dusty) Reid, Adam (Mandi) Beyer; half-brother, George Schubert. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Allen Boutwell and sister, Darlene Quaitance.

A Memorial Service for Carol will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola with Rev. Jeffrey Fletcher officiating. A gathering of friends and family will be held at the Voie Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 5:45 PM.
