Anthony "Tony" J. Cisewski

Anthony "Tony" J. Cisewski, age 70, of Iola, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. He was born on May 16, 1951, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to the late Joseph & Laura (Simonis) Cisewski. On March 4, 2000, he married Diana Cain in Waupaca. Tony is survived by his wife, Diana, daughters Dawn (Robert) Coen and Julie (Aaron) Holbrook, grandchildren Bradley and Sean Coen, and Lucas and Jacob Holbrook, and sister Bernice Ostrowski. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Thomas Cisewski, and his brother-in-law Leonard Ostrowski. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews. Tony retired in 2016 after a 43-year career at the Central Electric Cooperative in Iola and Rosholt where he was instrumental in designing and building the new facility in Rosholt. Tony was also a member of the Iola Town Board and was a Village trustee. Tony was very active and loved downhill skiing, boating, hunting, tennis, racquetball and golf. He also loved traveling with his wife, and he especially enjoyed his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 11:30 am at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Iola with Reverend Dr. Karen Rendall, officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00 am - 11:30 am at the church.
