Agnes Marie Cooper

Agnes Marie Cooper, age 97, of Wisconsin Rapids, formerly of Iola, Stevens Point and Hancock; died Thursday, September 23rd, 2010 at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids. Agnes was born in Iola, Wisconsin on April 28, 1913, the daughter of the late Simon and Marie (Syvertson) Bakeng. She married William E. Cooper on June 3, 1931 in Waupaca. He preceded her in death on Oct 23, 1967. Agnes was a resident of Chula Vista Manor in Wisconsin Rapids from 1978 to 2008 and then became a resident of Hilltop Assisted Living in Wisconsin Rapids, till the time of her death. Agnes is survived by Step Grandchildren , Nieces and Nephews along with her friends: Lorraine Nash and Terry Nash both of Wisconsin Rapids. She was preceded in death by Step Son: Firman Cooper, Step Daughters: Emma Cooper, Elsie Gjertson & Elizabeth Kutcher. Sister: Gladys Bakeng and Brothers: Palmer Bakeng, Alvin Bakeng and Sidney Bakeng. Memorial Services will be held Saturday October 2, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 1432 32nd Street South in Wisconsin Rapids with Terry Nash officiating.
