Gary Lee Mork

Gary Lee Mork, 69, of Iola, formerly of Scandinavia and Tucson, Arizona, died Friday, September 17th, 2010 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. Gary was born in Iola on March 21, 1941, the son of the late Roger and Beverly "Bunny" (Devereaux) Mork. He married Deborah Brown on March 10, 1963. They later divorced. Gary enjoyed playing and watching baseball whenever he could. He was very proud of his family including his Granddaughter Ellen; for all her accomplishments as a runner. He was an avid CB'er with the El Grande CB Club in Arizona. Gary served in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War. He is survived by his Ex Wife: Debbie Mork of Tucson, Daughter: Sherrell Mork of Tucson; Son: Timothy (Maria) Mork of Tucson; Grandchildren: Ellen Mork, Roger Dennis Mork, Jennifer Mork. Great Grandson: Roger Wayne Mork. Brothers: Harlan (Judy) Van Matre of Cedarburg; James (Karen) Mork of Fishers, Indiana; Sisters: Connie Freeman of Scandinavia; Pamela Stanzak of Mooresville, Indiana; Jill (Earl Jr.) Martin of Edwardscourt, Indiana; Robin Strohm of Mooresville, Indiana; Sandra (George) Boucher of Souix Falls, South Dakota. Gary was preceded in death by his Parents and Two Brothers: Keith Mork and Dennis Mork. He is also survived by nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. Memorial Service will be held at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 25th, with Reverend Marcia Sabin officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday 12 Noon-1:00 PM. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Scandinavia, Wisconsin.
