Matthew S. "Chooch" Lien

Matthew S. (Chooch) Lien, age 22, of Iola, died Wednesday, September 15th, 2010 at his residence. Matthew was born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin on November 16, 1987, the son of Scott Lien and Kate (Stevenson) Brunner. Matt worked as a laborer for Wellers Salvage in Galloway, WI. He is survived by his Mother: Kate (Kerry) Brunner of Stevens Point; Father: Scott Lien of Iola; Sister: Megan (Shane) Heindl of Iola; Grandmother: Arlene Lien of Iola; Niece: Xandra Heindl; Nephew: Kerrick Lien; Uncle: Alan (Vicky) Lien of California; Aunts: Kari (Mike) Christoph of Kimberly; Liz (Kris) Krohn of Illinois; Step Brothers: Daniel Brunner of Madison; Michael Brunner of Madison; Step Sister: Kimbereley Brunner of Manitowoc. He was preceded in death by Grandparents: A. Lowell "Buzzer" Lien and Robert & Marilyn Stevenson. Funeral Service will be held at Faith Community Church at N2541 County K, Waupaca at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 18th, with Reverend Paul Stevens and Reverend Gary Strike officiating. Visitation will be held Friday 4-8 PM. at Voie Funeral Home in Iola and at the church on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 AM. Interment will be in Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Scandinavia, Waupaca County, Wisconsin.
