Lovely and loyal Lana, what did we do to deserve you? While your body grew weary with the reality of Cancer, your soul's estate continued to maintain its' fine order. You showed us tremendous faith and courage as you held on; and your brave spirit inspired us with amazing grace and dignity as you let go. You have been the truest of friends enriching our lives with your profound kindness and steadfast love. Friendship wasn't a big thing; it was a million little things to you. You listened at length to all of us and cherished our hopes and dreams. You were first to come to our aid. It was your practice to judge people and things in the most favorable light at all times. Your quiet exterior hid a great sense of humor that was contagious. Your deeds always matched your words. You always accepted the hand you were dealt and found wisdom at every hard turn in the road. You found great contentment in simplicity. You sought elegance rather than luxury. You unconditionally loved your family and friends. Your quiet personality has spoken volumes. You have made our universe brighter. You will never fade from our hearts and minds. Thank you for inspiring us and teaching us about the wisdom of humility. When you ask God for a gift, Be thankful if he sends, Not diamonds, pearls or riches, But the love of real true friends.
