Eugene R. Liebe

Eugene R. Liebe, 74, of Iola died Thursday, February 18th, 2010 at his residence. Eugene was born in Rosholt, Wisconsin on May 3, 1935, the son of the late Jerome Liebe and Ihla Olson. He was married to Ann Millea. They divorced. He then was married to Mary Vomberg. They later divorced. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as an assembly line worker at Continental Can in Milwaukee. He is survived by his children: Sheanna (Avner) Hizmi of Brookfield, Greg Liebe of Franklin, Michelle (Thomas) Montoya of Queen Creek, AZ; Eric (Esther) Liebe of Buckeye, AZ; Sisters: Clarice (Randy) Kernen of Iola, Barb Liebe of Scandinavia, Beatrice Malinowski of Bloomer, Mary Ann Jorgensen of Waupaca, Brothers: Dennis Liebe of Oak Park, CA. Steve (Terrie Tews) Liebe of Weyauwega. 12 Grandchildren He was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Liebe. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church, Rosholt, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 25th, 2010 with Father Marcin Mankowski OP and Father James Genovesi FHPA officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday 4-8 PM. at Voie Funeral Home in Iola and Thursday 10-11 AM. at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church in Rosholt. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The rosary will be recited Wednesday 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Operation Bootstrap in Stevens Point or to the Blessed Sacrament Hermitage in the Town of Sharon.
