He attended Salida schools and graduated from Salida High School in 1977. Following graduation, he served four years in the U. S. Navy. Dennis started his career in construction, working in Fairplay, Colorado for a number of years before moving to Wisconsin. In Iola, Wisconsin, he established his own company, DTM Construction. A memorial service will be held at the Temple Baptist Church in Salida, Colorado on May 15th, 2010. Following the service, his cremains will be scattered as he requested. In lieu of flowers, anyone who so desires may make a contribution to the "Dennis Dague Memorial Fund" c/o High Country Bank, PO Box 309, Salida, CO 81201, to help defer expenses incurred during his lengthy illness. Dennis had a ready smile for everyone, and he was constantly teasing anyone he met. He earned his nickname Dennis the Menace. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but really excelled at telling jokes and stories. He'll be missed by his family and many friends in Colorado and Wisconsin. To the Community of Iola: Recently, we lost our brother, Dennis Dague, to lung cancer. We want to thank Dennis' friends and neighbors who helped him through this rough time. The many kindnesses shown to Dennis, will not be forgotten. We wish to thank all those who played cards with Dennis, brought him meals, and took time out of their busy days to visit with him. He loved his Wisconsin family and spoke highly of his friends and neighbors. You cannot begin to understand how much we appreciate all you did for Dennis this past year as he struggled with lung cancer. A special thanks to his "angel", Agnes Mai for all she did for our Dennis. Dennis loved Aggie, as does his Colorado family. To the amazing people of the Iola Community, we thank you so much. You remain in our thoughts and prayers -- we cannot thank you enough. The Dague Family Voie Funeral Home 120 S. Main St Iola, WI. 54945 715-445-2560 www.voiefuneralhome.com
