Robert E. Erickson

Robert E. Erickson, 82, of New London, died Monday, January 11th, 2010 at New London Family Medical Center. He was born in Scandinavia, Wisconsin on August 12, 1927, the son of the late Clarence and Stella (Mork) Erickson. Robert married Lillian Budsberg on November 1, 1947 in Iola. They had been married for over 62 years. He worked for Stark Farms in Rhinelander for 11 years, at Star Dairy in Weyauwega for 7 years, and as a cheesemaker for Weyauwega Milk Products for 22 years. After his retirement, he made and sold lawn ornaments. He is survived by his Wife: Lillian Erickson of New London, Son: Daniel Erickson of Weyauwega, Daughters: Barbara (Louis) Maggio of New London, Sandra Hemingson of New London. 1 Brother: Donald (Ella May) Erickson of Weyauwega. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 5 Step-Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson. He was preceded in death by 1 son: Timothy Erickson, 1 Great Grandson: Ken Maggio, 3 Sisters: Dorothy Abrahamson, Donna Irene Erickson and Lorraine Hansen. Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Waupaca, WI., at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 13, 2010, with Rev. Dr. Charles Tews officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in the Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery in Scandinavia.
