Doris (M. Lien) L. Dunn

Doris (M. Lien) L. Dunn, age 94, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Care Partners in Stevens Point, WI. Doris was born in Galloway, Wisconsin to the late Jorgen K. and Selma M.(Klope)Lien, baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith at Christ Evangelical Church, Rosholt. She was the 6th of seven children all of whom preceded her in death. She attended Birch Grove Elementary school in Galloway and Graduated Rosholt High School in 1941. During the War she worked at the defense plant in Milwaukee. She married Robert R. Dunn on June 20, 1949 in Wausau. He preceded her in death on November 15, 1992. Doris was an avid gardener, loved birds, and writing poetry. She became a Navy wife after marrying Bob and her creative nature helped to make wherever they lived a loving home. After retiring to Wisconsin she was very active in the church, especially the Esther & Mary morning circle. She is survived by her Son: Jery Dunn (Nelsonville), Stepson in law Len Johnstone (Canada) and three grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on April 3, 2018 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Iola. Visitation will be at 10AM, followed by the service at 11AM. Following the burial lunch will be served in the church basement.
