Daryl F. Jensen

Daryl Fredric Jensen of Appleton, passed away on February 9, 2018. He was born on March 26, 1966 to Allan J. and Leona R. Jensen. He graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School in 1984 and attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Daryl had an incredible work ethic and did not miss one day of work in the 32 years that he worked at Menards, in both Milwaukee and Grand Chute, Wisconsin. He was a dedicated employee and his colleagues and customers were like a second family to him. Daryl was a quiet, kind, and gentle soul who never said a bad word about anyone. He enjoyed jogging, hunting, fishing, spending time at Sand Lake and was an avid fan of the rock group “Queen”. Daryl is survived by his mother, Leona Jensen, his brother, Brian Jensen, his sister and brother-in-law Kristen and Patrick Zullner, along with their children Shannon (Steve) Wall, and Samantha (Joe) Ferrero, brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Sarah Jensen, and their children Henry, Frances, and Bonnie, and his great-nephew Max Wall. He is further survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Allan Jensen, and his four grandparents. A Funeral Service will be held at Scandinavia Lutheran Church in Scandinavia on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM. The Reverend David Eisele, pastor, will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM till the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
