Richard V. Kirchhoff

Richard Vernon Kirchhoff passed from this life unexpectedly on Saturday, August 5th 2017 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield. He was born to Kimberly Kirchhoff and Durwin Scheffler on May 5, 1985 in Menomonee Falls, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Having left us too soon at age 32, Rich is survived by his mother and step father Kim and Elroy Thoma, his best friend and love, Keshia May Howard along with her three children, Kylee, Alex, and Cameron. Rich’s brother David De Ford (Stephanie), his grandparents Richard and Audrey Kirchhoff, grand father Ray Scheffler, Grandma T, aunt Kathi Kube (James) cousins Jennifer Kube (Mike), Rebekah Kube (Peter) Bev Thoma and many more cousins, family and friends. Preceding him in death, his brother Joshua DeFord and his grandmother Marjorie Scheffler. Rich started working at McDonalds at age 15 and worked his way up to management. He currently was working at Sturms. He was a true friend to many because he loved people. He had a contagious humor that endeared him to all. He was a source of joy and had a zest for life. Loved to dance, sing along with his music, bowling in Scandinavia, and the kids he adopted with his heart. He will be forever in our hearts and to celebrate his life there will be a funeral service at Voie Funeral Home, Main Street, Iola, Wisconsin, Tuesday August 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. A luncheon in the Pavilion at Taylor Park off Main St. Iola at 11:15. Love is unending.
