Rosemarie C. Barber

Rosemarie Carle Barber, 92, of Scandinavia, passed away Friday, July 7th, at Wisconsin Veterans Home-Mac Arthur Hall, Wisconsin. Rosemarie was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 14, 1925, a daughter of the late Rose (Applequist) and Pompeo Favretto. Rosemarie married Arthur Barber on March 9, 1946 in Illinois, he preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 2017. Rosemarie was a member of Scandinavia Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bible study, playing the piano, crossword puzzles, singing with "Sweet Adeline " and loved god and her family and friends. She is survived by Son: Art (Sharon) Barber, of Stevens Point. Grandchildren: Dale Hicks of Iola, Jackie Ridge of Stevens Point and Great Grandson: Christopher. She was preceded in death by a Daughter: Kathleen Hicks, Brother: William "Bud" Favretto Funeral Service will be held at Scandinavia Lutheran Church, Scandinavia, Wisconsin, at 1:00 PM on ,Wednesday, July 12, 2017 with Reverend David Eisele officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 12 noon till the time of the service. Interment will be in Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery Town of Scandinavia, Wisconsin.
