Anthony C. Meverden

Anthony Craig Meverden, age 22, of Iola, WI, passed away Tuesday, June 6th, at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Anthony was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on January 10, 1995, son of Karen Vomberg and Craig Meverden. His smile and laughter would light up the room. His love for his family was unmeasurable. He enjoyed hunting fishing and drumming. He also enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together. He always had a project. He was a man of integrity who gave so much happiness to everyone he came in contact with and the day his daughter was born; he flourished. He was an amazing son, brother, fiance, father, nephew, uncle and cousin. He is survived by his Mother: Karen Vomberg, of Iola; Father: Craig Meverden, of Berlin; Fiancée: Toni Grawvunder, Daughter: Allison Meverden, Siblings: Clayton Vomberg, Blake Vomberg, Easton Meverden, Hayden Vomberg, McKenna Vomberg, Grandmothers: Barbara Liebe and Beverly Meverden. He is also survived by aunts uncles other relatives and many friends. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church in Rosholt at 11:00 AM on TUESDAY, June 13th, with Father Jeffrey Hennes officiating. Visitation will be held on SUNDAY, June 11th, from 2-5 PM. at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola with a prayer service at 5:00 PM. Visitation will also be held at the church on Tuesday from 10 AM till the time of Mass. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
