Phyllis Jean Beyer

Phyllis Jean Beyer, age 84, of Iola, WI, passed away Sunday, February 5th, at St Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Phyllis was born in Iola, Wisconsin on August 2, 1932, a daughter of the late Sylvia Lauretta (Olson) and Gustave Beyer. Phyllis was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Iola, where she was very active in the choir, teaching Sunday school, member of the Faith circle along with quilting. She worked at the Iola IGA, in activities at the Iola Nursing Home and in the mailroom at Krause Publications. She enjoyed bus trips, traveling over seas, and working outside in her flower garden. She was also a member of the Iola Sons of Norway and Waupaca Area Community Chorus for 53 years. Phyllis is survived by many cousins other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Iola at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 11th, with Reverend Dennis Olson officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 -11:00 AM. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
