Doris M. Parse

Doris Mae Parse, age 91, of Weyauwega, formerly of Waupaca, passed away Tuesday, December 27th, at Crossroads Care Center in Weyauwega. Doris was born in Wild Rose, Wisconsin on July 28, 1925, a daughter of the late Alice (Seifert) and Reuben Bacon. Doris married Claude Parse on Dec 7, 1946 in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death in June 6, 1992. Doris enjoyed bowling and dancing. She is survived by her Daughters: Darlene (Eric) Kruger, of West Bend. Marsha Parse, of Fremont. Two Grandchildren: Marnie Parse and Rhonda Deschler. Four Great Grandchildren: Ryan, Jordan, Aubrey and Lila May. Brother: Lavern Bacon of Wild Rose and Sisters: Janet Nelson and Audrey Rasmussen. She is also survived by cousins and other relatives and friends. Doris was preceded in death by Brothers: Marvin Bacon, Donald Bacon, Burnett Redman. Funeral Service will be held at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 2nd with Reverend Jeff Radley, Officiating. Visitation will be held Monday 12 Noon -1:00 PM. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Greenvale (Dopp) Cemetery in the town of Belmont, Portage County, Wisconsin.
