Rosemary A. Olson

Rosemary A. Olson, 72, of Iola, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at North Haven, in Stevens Point. Rose was born in New London, Wisconsin on December 9, 1943, a daughter of the late Jeanette (Tischauser) and Allen Behnke. Rose grew up on the family farm in the Town of Union. She attended Shady Grove elementary school and graduated from Little Wolf High School. She enjoyed spending time talking with people and having fun with family and friends. She also liked hunting, fishing, camping and floating down the river with her favorite beverage. She will always be known as a "woman on the go" and loved an adventure. She is survived by her Daughter: Denise Olson, of Iola; Son: Vance (Yvette) Olson, of Iola; Partner for Life: Jerry Schulist, of Iola and his family Jay (Allison) Schulist of Weston and Matt (Stacy) Schulist of Rothchild. Grandchildren: Erin Lowney of Iola. Jake Lowney of Scandinavia, Ethan Olson of Iola & Noah Olson of Iola, Sister: Barb (Dave) Hungerford of Appleton, Brothers: Dan (Maureen) Behnke of New London and Donald (Kathy) Behnke of Appleton. A Memorial Service will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Iola at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 5th, with Reverend Dennis Olson officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30AM -11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Big Falls Cemetery.
