Maurine J. Buth

Maurine J Buth, age 91, of Iola, Wisconsin, died Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Iola Living Assistance. Maurine was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 23, 1925, a daughter of the late Hugo and Florence ( Kohls) Sitte. She married Gordon Buth in Milwaukee on November of 1963. He preceded her in death on August 17, 1996. Maurine was an avid reader. She belonged to the Book Club, the Garden Club, and the Iola Lioness. She had been a volunteer at the Iola Nursing Home and the Old Car Show. Maurine is survived by: Sons: Mark Marek, of Iola, Robert (Loreen) Marek, of Milwaukee, and Gene (Sue) Buth of Madison. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, a Brother: Gerald (Harriett) Sitte, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola, Wisconsin with Reverend Dennis Olson officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be Thursday 2:00 PM in Highland Memorial Park New Berlin, Wisconsin. The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice, Iola Living Assistance and St. Michael's Hospital for the comfort and care given to Maurine.
