Christine F. Bloom

Christine F. Bloom, age 50, of Iola, formerly of Brillion and Appleton, passed away Monday, May 25th, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Christine was born in Brillion, Wisconsin on October 12, 1958, the daughter of the late Hugo and Jeanette (Schwanke) Woldt. Christine married Brian Bloom on May 18, 1981 in Brillion. Chris was a 1977 graduate of Brillion High School. She worked for Presto Products, Azco Hennes, Central Wisconsin Electic Cooperative and was a rural postal carrier in Iola. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Iola. Chris enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking, doing family projects, taking family pictures, gardening and spending time outdoors. She was a generous, caring person and was always willing to help others. She is survived by her Husband: Brian Bloom of Iola; Children: Tyler and Lindsey Bloom at home; Twin Sister: Carol Geise of Appleton; Brothers: Daryl ( Amy) Woldt of Brillion; Tim Woldt of Brillion. She is also survived by nieces an nephews aunts and uncles. Funeral Service will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 28th, with Reverend Dennis Olson officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday 4-8 P.M. at Voie Funeral Home in Iola and Thursday 10-11 AM. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Our Saviors Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Scandinavia, Wisconsin.
