Jerome A. Koss

Jerome A. Koss, 73, of Manawa, formerly of Scandinavia, passed away Tuesday, May 19th, 2009 at the Manawa Community Nursing Home. Jerry married Marylyn Hellmich on April 29, 1961 in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death on May 23, 1987. Jerry was born in Cudahy, Wisconsin on April 14, 1936, the son of the late Stanislaus and Constance (Krzewina) Koss. Jerry enjoyed spending time outdoors. He loved deer hunting, duck hunting and training dogs. Jerry was also an avid trap shooter and woodworker. He is survived by his Daughters: Shelley (Wally) Pouchert of Watertown. Tracey (Chris) Allred of Iola. Jody (Vern) Cady of Scandinavia; Son Jason (Vicki) Koss of Scandinavia; Sisters: Ellen Mieles of San Diego, California. Rose Pipes of Milwaukee. Jane Jenrich of Milwaukee. Virginia Ceman of Milwaukee. He is also survived by Nine Grandchildren: Taylor, Troy, Sierra, Cole & Collin, Justin, Glenn & Leah and Ian and One Great Grandchild: Addison. A Memorial Service will be held at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Father Max Ssekiwala officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30 -11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment of cremains will be in the St. James Catholic Cemetery in Amherst. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Manawa Fish and Game Club. The Voie Funeral Home of Iola is assisting the family with arrangements.
