Rosella G. Jenson

Mrs. Rosella G. Jenson, 90, of Waupaca, WI., formerly of Iola passed away Sunday, April 12th, 2009 at her residence. Rosella was born in Iola on March 30, 1919, the daughter of the late Guy and Josephine (Johnson) Lien. She married Lyman M. Jenson on Nov 24, 1945 at North New Hope Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on February 8, 1979. Rosella enjoyed participating in the church rummage sale at Scandinavia Lutheran along with quilting. She like to bowl; having fun with the girls at the bowling alley and socializing with her friends at the Iola Senior Center. Many years ago, Rosella worked for Len Hoyord at the Chevrolet Garage in Iola. She retired after 26 years from Krause Publications in 1984. Rosella is survived by Son: James (Lonnie) Jenson of Iola; Daughter: Barbara (Dan Konz) Jenson of Waupaca; Grandchildren: Lauren (Mark) Borth of Iola. Jennifer Thorne of Waupaca; Great Grandchildren: Aaron & Kelsey Borth of Iola. She is further survived by nieces and nephews. Rosella was preceded in death by her Brother: Malcom Lien, Sister: Genevieve (Pete) Johnson and Step Mother: Irene Lien. Funeral Service will be held at Scandinavia Lutheran Church in Scandinavia at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 16th 2009 with Reverend Mark E. Sabin officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-7 P.M. at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola. Interment will be in the Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery.
