Marian H. Carlson

Marian H. Carlson, age 96, of Iola, passed away Saturday, January 2nd, at Iola Living Assistance, Wisconsin. Marian was born in Big Falls, Wisconsin on March 1, 1919, a daughter of the late Myrtle (Hanson) and Albert Sether. She married Kenneth C. Carlson on Nov. 29, 1941 at Hitterdahl Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1983. Marian was a clerk at the Rexall Drug Store in Iola for 35 years. She was a lifelong member of Hitterdahl Lutheran Church where she was very active in the Ladies Aid. Marian also volunteered at the Iola Nursing Home. She enjoyed taking care of animals and spending time with her family. She is survived by Son: Bruce (Debby) Carlson Grandchildren: Ken Carlson, Ann Woelfel and Amy Davis. Great Grandchildren: Hannah & James Woelfel. Marian was preceded in death by Sisters: Mildred Thoe, Alice Rohde, Carol Egner and Brother Lowell Sether. Funeral Service will be held at Hitterdahl Lutheran Church, N8808 County Road J, in the Town of Iola, at 12 Noon on Tuesday, January 5th, with Reverend Dale Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 am - 12 noon. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
