Milton C. Moen

Milton C. Moen, age 78, of Iola, WI, died Friday, December 25th, at Iola Living Assistance, Wisconsin. Milton was born in Town of Harrison, Wisconsin on August 24, 1937, a son of the late Harris and Gladys (Bekhus) Moen. He married Linda Johnson on August 10, 1974 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Rosholt. Milton served in the US Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was with the Engineers Unit that built bridges. He also served in Germany. Milton had farmed on the family dairy farm for many years. He loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife: Linda Moen, of Iola, and son; Mark (Tina) Moen, of Iola; A brother, Glenn (Bee) Moen, of Green Bay. Milton is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Courtney, Katie, and Brock. He is further survived by 3 nieces: Michelle, Kari, and Jenna. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Northland Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dan Somers officiating. A visitation will be held Tuesday December 29, 2015 from 3-6 PM at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola and on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at Northland Lutheran Church.
