Arthur E. Krueger, Jr.

Arthur E. Krueger, age 78, of Scandinavia, WI. formerly of Merrill, died Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Appleton Medical Center. Art was born in Iola, Wisconsin on October 20, 1937, a son of the late Arthur and Adeline (Olson) Krueger. He married Carole Jones on June 11, 1960 at the Northland Lutheran Church. She survives. Art served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958. He had worked in retail lumber for Wolahan's Lumber in Plover, Eagle Home Center in Eagle River, and the Trust Plant at ROW and Trantow's both in Merrill. Art loved sports and woodworking. Art did all of the finish work at their home in Merrill. He was a former member of the Scandinavia Baseball Team and the Scandinavia Booster Club. Art is survived by: his wife, Carole; a daughter, Kristie (Dale) Schulz; son Thomas (Lisa) Krueger, of Rochester, MN.; brother-in-law James Rasmussen and sister-in-law Betty Gunderson. Art is further survived by four grandchildren: Amy and Sarah Schulz, Willie Gotmer and Jake Anderson. He was preceded in death by: a sister: Charlene Rasmussen, brother-in-law: Pete Gunderson, and a niece: Darlene Gunderson A Memorial Service wil be held at Scandinavia Lutheran Church, Scandinavia, Wisconsin, at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 20, 2015. with Reverend Mark E.
