Roger L. Gill

Roger L. Gill, age 66, of Iola, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at UW Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Roger was born in , Stevens Point, Wisconsin on March 31, 1949, the son of the late Carl and Lillian (Hitz) Gill. Roger had worked for Wisconsin Ribstone Silo, Hatley Veneer, Tigerton Lumber, Ort Lumber, and at the Joe Malek potato farm. He loved fishing , gardening and his favorite dog, King. Roger is survived by: Sisters: Ileen (Gene) Kramer of Bear Creek, WI., and Marcella (Robert) Olson of Clintonville, WI.; Brothers: Brian (Mary) Gill of Buffalo City, WI. and Floyd Gill of Iola, WI.. Nieces and Nephews: Tammy (Mike), Dawn (Tim), David, Bonnie (Ryan), Ryan (Acacia), Kim, Jessica (Joe), and Brittney, Amber (Bob), Paul (Sara), Katie (Sterling), and Tyler (Anna) Great Nieces and nephews: Joshua, Alex, Nathan, Kateln, Marissa, Mason, Hailey, Ethan, Brennan, Abby, Carson, Andrew, Christopher, Nevah, and Gracy. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at Voie Funeral Home, Iola, Wisconsin, at 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 6th, with Reverend Dale Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will be at a later date in the Alban Lutheran Cemetery.
