Evangeline Margaret Biedermann Gill

Evangeline Margaret Biedermann Gill went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2015. Evangeline was born on January 6, 1923 the daughter of the late Robert and Rebecca (Hanson) Bestul. She celebrated 50 years of marriage to Clifford Biedermann who preceded her in death on September 25, 1992. They had three children, Jean Petersen and husband, Richard of Harrisonburg, VA. Glenn Biedermann and his wife, Mary Jo of Neenah, WI., and Dale Biedermann and his wife, Lynette of Neenah, WI. Evangeline had nine grandchildren: Amy Simmers, Eric Petersen, Danny Hoffman, Johanna Ciski, Ryan Biedermann, Josie Suska, Kimberly Biedermann, Roxanne Bannister and Patrick Biedermann. There are also nine great grandchildren. In addition to her children and their families, she is survived by two sisters: Ruth Jones and Crystal Anderson of Iola, WI. Four siblings, Harland, Phillip, and Earl Bestul and Geraldine Recker preceded her in death. After Clifford's death, Evangeline was married to Hjalmar Gill who also preceded her in death. Evangeline lived a full blessed life working beside Clifford in several family owned restaurants. She enjoyed painting, music, and spending time with family and friends.. One of her greatest joys was sharing her love of all people. Her last years were spent in King, WI. after suffering a stroke. She will be truly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Iola United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Rice officiating. A visitation will be Friday from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in the Town of Iola, Wisconsin.
