Annie Marie Malone

Annie Marie Malone, age 74, of Iola, died Thursday, June 4, 2015 at her residence. Marie was born in Richmond ,Virginia on August 17, 1940, the daughter of the late Robert Childress and Virginia (Chewning) Furgesen. Marie had worked as cook at Iola Nursing Home and then Iola Living Assistance for almost 45 years. She truly enjoyed her job and the residents. Marie was always willing to help someone else. She is survived by a fiance, Rory Andraschko, Sr.; sisters: Earline Austin and Grace (Bob) Guille and a brother: Gordon Childress. Also surviving is a good friend, Kim Bartel. It was Marie's wishes to be cremated and have no funeral services.
