Norma Charlotte Johnson, 93, of Scandinavia, died Sunday, June 7th, 2015 at Riverside Medical Center, in Waupaca. Norma was born in Ellingson, South Dakota on March 11, 1922, the daughter of the late Jonas and Clara (Syvertson) Louison. She married L.W. "Bill" Johnson on Feb 14, 1953 in Madison, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on Dec 24, 1987. Norma was an avid outdoor person; enjoying hunting, fishing, bird watching and golfing. She was State Women’s Champion in trapshooting and her favorite holidays were the opening days of deer season and trout fishing. She was a registered nurse for most of her life; caring for many and especially her family. Norma liked spending time with her pets which included dogs, deer and cats. Norma also enjoyed reading and story telling. She is survived by nieces, nephews , step children, step grandchildren other relatives and friends. Norma was preceded in death by three Brothers: Luther, Gordon, & Jesse, and three Sisters: Karen Olson, Grace Gregerson, & Dagne Louison. A Memorial Service will be held at Voie Funeral Home in Iola at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 14th, with Reverend Mark E. Sabin officiating. Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday from 1-3 PM at the funeral home. Inurment of cremains will be in the Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Scandinavia, Waupaca County, Wisconsin.
