Janis R. Lemke

Janis Rose Lemke, age 88, passed away June 1, 2015. Janis was born August 4, 1926 in Oshkosh, WI to Alexander and Constance (Behnke) Zenner. She lived in Milwaukee most of her life, working at Briggs and Stratton, retiring after 26 years. Janis moved to Ogdensburg to her weekend getaway, making it her home. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and reading. Janis is survived by her grandchildren, Crystal R Lemke, Leopolis, Amber M (Daniel) Floistad, Marion, Adam L Lemke Jr, Waupaca and Ketrina R Lemke, Scandinavia, 6 great-grandchildren, her sisters Lois Mulnix, Menomonee Falls, Phyllis Nault, Germantown and Ardis Lemke, Tigerton. She was proceeded in death by her parents, sons, Randall L Lemke and Adam L Lemke, a brother, Alvin Zenner, sisters, Geneva Jalkos, Iona Baake and Ernestine Kane. A Memorial Service was held Sunday, June 7, 2015 @ 1:00 PM at the Voie Funeral Home.
