Eileen F. Demling

Eileen Frances Demling, age 98, of Iola, died Tuesday, June 2nd, 2015 at Iola Living Assistance. Eileen was born in Gresham, Wisconsin on October 20, 1916, the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Schreiber) Stoehr. She married Donald G. Demling in 1937 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 1981. Eileen worked as a baker at Brownberry Ovens in Oconomowoc for over 35 years. She enjoyed oil painting, gardening, swimming at the Iola Aquatic Center and volunteering at the Iola Senior Center. She is survived by her Children: David (Georgine) Demling of Iola, Cheryl "Susie" (Michael) Lettiere, Michael Burke both of Phoenix. Grandchildren: Jennifer (Jeffrey) Eick, Joey (Christopher) Strohm, Kelly Warner, Julie (Warren) Miller, Robert (Cheryl) Lettiere, Cynthia (Quin) Adams. 17-Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a Son: Donald Demling Jr., Granddaughter: Laurie Merli, 7 Brothers and 3 Sisters. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 5th, with Father Amalraj Roche officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 1-2 PM. Interment of cremains will be in the St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Gresham, Wisconsin.
