Herbert F. Anderson

Herbert F. Anderson, age 102, of Nelsonville, died Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. Herbert was born in Town of New Hope, WI. on July 17, 1912, the son of the late Benjamin and Emma (Loberg) Anderson. He married Laurel Henke on August 28, 1941 at the North New Hope Lutheran Parsonage. Herbert had worked as self employed plumber, owning and operating Anderson Plumbing. The South New Hope Lutheran Church was a big part of his life. He spent many years as the custodian of the church and sextant of the cemetery. Herbert enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, playing the harmonica, travelling, and most of all spending time with family. Herbert is survived by: Wife: Laurel Anderson, Son: David (Sandra) Anderson, Daughters: Gayle (Al) Trzebiatowski and Jane (Gerold) Bohm. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Herbert was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Gerhard, Anton, Carl and Richard Anderson; 5 sisters: Lillian Gunderson, Gladys Hanna, Alma Borgen, Edna Thorne, and an infant sister, Anna. Funeral Service will be held at Nelsonville Lutheran Church, Nelsonville, Wisconsin, at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 16, 2015 with Reverend Dwight Anderson officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the Church. Interment will be in the Nelsonville Lutheran Cemetery, Township of New Hope, Wisconsin.
