Robert "Bob" Lashua

Robert "Bob" Lashua Robert "Bob" Lashua, age 89, of Iola, died December 26, 2014 at the Iola Living Assistance. Bob was born in the Town of Harrison , on March 23, 1925, the son of the late Lee and Nina (Larson) Lashua. He married Carol Erickson on April 15, 1950 Dubuque, in Iowa. Bob operated a dairy and cattle farm in the Town of Harrison until he retired. He also had worked as a potato inspector for Ore-Ida and in mail delivery for Krause Publications. For 12 years, Bob delivered meal on wheels. He also transported handicapped people to apppointments. Bob was a member of Northland Lutheran Church Bob is survived by his wife: Carol, four sons: William "Bill" (Barb), Richard "Dick" (Sandy), John (Patti), Jack (Mary Jo) Lashua: and a daughter Susan "Sue" Voie all of Iola. Bob is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandson: Chad Lashua, granddaughter: Kallie Ann Voie, special uncle and aunt: Lester and Myrtle Larson, friend: Lee Nelson, and aunt: Della Nelson. Funeral Services will be held at Northland Lutheran Church, Iola, WI, at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 29, 2014 with Reverend Dan Somers officiating. Visitation will be held Monday 9:30 AM until the time of service at Northland Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Northland Lutheran Cemetery Town of Harrison, Wisconsin at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff of all departments at the Iola Living Assistance and a special thank you to the North Wing Nursing Staff for their loving care.
