Roy J. Wiberg, 83, of West Bend, formerly of Amherst Jct. died Saturday, February 22nd, 2014 at Samaritan Health Center in West Bend. Roy was born in Basin, Wyoming on November 2, 1930, the son of the late Roy V. Wiberg and and Margaret Keele. Roy married Janet (Norris) Wiberg. She preceded him in death in 1995. He later married Joan Thompson, she preceded him in death in 2002 and later married Alice Ehr. Roy received his Bachelors degree in Education from U-W Whitewater and Masters Degree in Education from Marquette University. He was a teacher for over 30 years for Milwaukee Public Schools. He enjoyed hunting, old cars, artistic painting, collecting rocks and loved being with people. He is survived by his Wife: Alice, Loving Father of Timothy (Linda) Wiberg, Beth (Todd) Krueger and Randy (Helen) Wiberg. Proud Grandfather of Jennifer, Rebecca, Jason, Ryan, Brittany, Rachel and Julia. Great Grandfather of Carson, Maddox,Wyatt and Benjamin. Dear Brother of Pat (Gerry) Gallo. Further survived by many other friends and family. He was preceded in death by: Wives: Janet (Norris) Wiberg and Joan (Thompson) Wiberg and sister Myrtle. Funeral Service will be held at North New Hope Lutheran Church, 845 County T, Amherst, Jct. at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 1st, with Reverend Michael Peuse officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday 11:00 AM - 12:00 P.M. He will be laid to rest next to his wife Janet in the North New Hope Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of New Hope, Portage County, Wisconsin.
