Thomas E. Mande Sr.

Thomas Eugene Mande, Sr, age 82, of Iola, died Wednesday, July 3rd, 2013 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. Tom was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on April 21, 1931, the son of the late Fred and Gladys Mande. He married Rose Morrison on September 21,1954 in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on Oct 19, 2007. Tom served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He also worked in maintenance at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for over 23 years. He enjoyed gardening, ice fishing, stamp collecting and visiting with friends at JD's Corner Bar in Iola. He is survived by his Sons: Tom Mande, Dale Mande, Lee Mande and Daughter: Dawn Houle all of Iola; 5 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and Sister: Ina Kellert of Green Bay. Tom was preceded in death by Two Brothers: Jack & Carl. Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at Hitterdahl Lutheran Cemetery, N8808 County Road J in the Town of Iola at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, July 9th, with Reverend Dale Wilson officiating.
