Frank N. Trzebiatowski, age 93, of Rosholt, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Iola Living Assistance. Frank was born in the Town of Alban, Wisconsin on September 22, 1919, the son of the late John and Rosie (Augustyniak) Trzebiatowski, Sr.. Frank married Ann Gilmeister on September 10, 1949 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt. He served in the Army from June 1941 to October 1945 serving as a corporal with Battery B 194 Field Artillery at Fort Sill, OK. Frank was transferred overseas to the South Pacific for two and a half years being honorably discharged in October1945. He was awarded the Good Conduct, American Defense Service, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign, and The WWII Victory Medals. He also received the Marksman Badge and Honorable Lapel Button WWII. Frank was a member of American Legion-Post 509 for over 50 years. Frank and Ann owned and operated the Alban Store for 20 years. Frank then retired to beautify the world through his expert work with flowers. He was famous for his beautiful flower garden from which he generously shared with friends and the community. Much time was spent with family, friends, steam trout fishing with his wife Ann, and helping at church fish fries. He also enjoyed leather crafting, wood working, hunting, and traveling. Frank was a man of strong faith being a member of his church and the Men's Rosary Society. Frank is survived by his wife: Ann of Rosholt; Son: Dennis Trzebiatowski of Iola; and Daughter: Mary Cresson of Scandinavia; Brother and sisters: Loretta Gilmeister, Clara (Jim) McAndrews, Jeanette (Tom) Young and Ted (Priscilla) Trzebiatowski. Frank is also survived by Grandchildren: Tammy (Matt Marcy) Louison, James (Sherri) Lashua, Laura (Mike) Karolus, Jennifer (Chris) Coppock, Melinda (Nicholas) Trinkner, and Sara Trzebiatowski. Great grandchildren: Nicholas and Bradon Louison, Jacob and Ethan Lashua, Grace Coppock, and Nevaeh Trinkner. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by five brothers: John Jr., Hank, Tony and infant twin brothers Peter and Paul. Two sisters: Evelyn Barwig and Patricia Gavin. A son-in-law Jules Cresson and grandson-in-law Todd Louison. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, June 1, 2013 @10:30 A.M. at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, in Rosholt with Father Gregory Michaud officiating. Visitation will be held Friday 4-8 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:30 P.M. at Voie Funeral Home in Iola. Internment will be in the parish cemetery.
