Henry Knaub, age 84, of Iola, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the Crystal River Nursing & Rehab Center in Waupaca. Hank was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 29, 1929, the son of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Rien) Knaub. He married Patricia Johnston on December 13, 1952 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church rectory in Milwaukee. They were married for over 60 years. Hank had worked as purchasing manager at Trak International in Port Washington. His career led to many lasting friendships and great times for Pat and him. He also had many good friends he met in Iola in the Golf League. Hank enjoyed years of hunting with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Pat Knaub of Iola; daughters: Laura (Harley) Grant of West Bend, Mary (Michael) Heuser of Portland, OR., and Elizabeth (David) Hauser of Iola; Son: Daniel (Stacey) Knaub of West Bend; and a sister: Marie Heinitz of Milwaukee. Hank is further survived by his Grandchildren: Matthew, Melissa, Nathan (Wendy), and Meghan Gresen, Dr. Rose (Matthew Bartlett) Heuser-Bartlett and Sam Heuser, Zachary, Maxwell, and Benjamin Hauser, Emma Knaub. He is also survived by great grandchildren: Cami Gresen and Lucy Bartlett. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 @ 11:30 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, in Waupaca, with Rev. Amalraj Roche officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Bear Creek. Thanks to Crystal River Nursing & Rehab Center for taking care of Hank in his great time of need for the last couple of weeks.
