Elsie Anderson

Elsie Anderson, age 88, of Rosholt, died Tuesday, February 5th, 2013 at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau. Elsie was born in the Town of New Hope, on September 27, 1924, daughter of the late Arthur and Blanche (Halverson) Stoltenberg. She married Harold A. Anderson on June 21, 1947 at North New Hope Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on January 3, 1979. Elsie worked at a defense factory in Milwaukee, was a beautician in Stevens Point and Rosholt most of her life and later worked in the kitchen for the Rosholt School District. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing cards. Elsie is survived by daughters: Carol (James) Lautenbach of Rosholt, Dona (Donn) Polzin of Plover, Janet (Milan) Cikanek of Colorado Springs CO, Six Grandchildren: Amy & Andrew Lautenbach, Matt & Dustin Polzin, Cody & Stephanie Cikanek and three Great Grandchildren: Eleanor, Leo & Alex and a sister, Donna (Alton) Amundson, of Iola. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Stoltenberg. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013 @ 11:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church in Rosholt with Reverend Michael Peuse officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Interment will be in the Concordia Lutheran Cemetery Rosholt, Wisconsin.
